WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has been hospitalized in Oregon for surgery after being sent home from WWE’s tour of the United Kingdom. Piper’s original diagnosis was kidney stones, however, sources close to the situation say the former World Tag Team Champion’s surgery may be a result of disc problems.
Due to Piper's injury, he will not participate at Survivor Series and will be replaced by a legend to be named later. Ric Flair will now be the lone captain of the legends team and Kenny will captain the Spirit Squad.

Gotta love Roddy Piper.
In one of those interviews Roddy was expounding on the greatness of another wrestler, Roddy said, "Rumor has it he even beat me one time! I would wouldn't know. Personally I wasn't there."
One of those, you have to be there?

Once I get any more information I will post it. I'll check the WWE site tomorrow morning to see if there is any update on him. I hope he is doing fine he is also one of my favorites as well. I wonder who they will pick to take his place on the team for Survivior series. One that I would like to see would be Ricky Steamboat. That would be perfect, he is one of the better ones to put in there with Flair, Slaughter, and Rhodes.
