Default subsite

I currently have two web pages on my c: drive and publish them to different ISP. I want to combine them and publish to one ISP.
I have created a subsite folder in the one web page and want to know how to 'import' the other web page to this subsite. Is it as easy as cut and paste? FP always tell you to work within the program to transfer files, etc. When I try the 'import web wizard' it says this function is not allowed.
Any help appreciated.
