Default spin chat

Directsex.com uses spinchat which comes with commands like users, etc.
However, DS removed those commands so users are only able to chat but not
much else. Two people have figured out a way to restore all the spinchat
commands (users, whois, locate, etc.) and they have other functions like
clearing the chat screen or changing text color.

Obviously, they are not using the directsex.com web page to chat but any
idea which software they are using to do this?

Thanks.

If it's a Java applet, (or other applet), they probably set some variables
that add this extra stuff. I did something like that ages ago, I embedded a
Java applet on a local webpage and had more functionality (and things I
didn't like stripped off). For example, the Help button opened for me
Google, so uhm, when I told some people, they thought I hacked Google.
