Thanks for clarifying that Chaddy

I am happy with the white space around the table i.e. the maximum
screen's width (800x600) as it makes it easier to code and people with
small resolutions don't get scroll bars.

I will however keep a check on my site stats to see what percentage of
people are using 800x600 and maybe switch to a wider layout (min
1024x768) at some point but there aren't many sites that have made that
brave descision yet!

Cheers

Andy

Why not just build the site so that the size of your viewers browser window
is irrelevent. The size of their screen is *already* irrelevent anyway.

I see no reason why your site should be restricted to any size,
particularly when I look at your comparison table where at my favourite
font size the "details of the deal" column is about two words wide.

I have a small resolution, and I have scroll bars.

See this:

However. More to the point. (This comes up every week.) Resolution is
unimportant! Browser window size is! And you can't tell what it is...

What if my browser window is about 700px wide? 600px? Many people with
high resolution monitors do not browse with the window maximized. Do
you?

Very good point. My system is set up to have the screen 1280 x 1024 -
however I never have the browser window maximised.

All this is not to mention the screen real estate taken up by toolbars etc.

Your site is truly excellent!!

Good name, great concept.

Site is clean and clear, tidy and easy to use. I did a check on a Sony
Ericsson phone on the Orange network. Quick result, FANTASTIC information.

I don't remember seeing a better site in here. Congratulations. I don't
know if you are busy yet, but you are bound to be!
