| Civilians | My gfx card is not letting me go to a 800 x 600 resolution. Anyone knows of tools/websites for testing webpages under different resolutions and web browsers 9without loading anything on the computer)? -- Karim http://dotNet-Hosting.com - Super low $4.75/month. There are three buttons in the upper right hand corner of your standard Windows window. I suggest getting familiar with the middle one. In Opera, I can set the title bar to display the pixel resolution of the viewport. Helpful for resizing to a specific size. Anyone knows > of > tools/websites for testing webpages under different resolutions and web > browsers 9without loading anything on the computer)? A lot of page-zone google alerts got my attention. To display the site in 800x600 just count 800 pixels wide and 600 high on your screen. Make a little pencil mark and resize the browser window to that. One quick way to count them just set the screen resolution to 800x600, stretch the browser to fit the window then set the resolution back to whatever it was. The browser window will get smaller but still be 800x600. Make your pencil marks and your done. -- Jim Snape of Page-Zone Web Hosting http://www.page-zone.com |

Just resize your browser window. It doesn't work properly. You need to get the horizontal bars when you go smaller and you need the exact 800 x 600 experience. -- Karim http://dotNet-Hosting.com - Super low $4.75/month. The horizontal scroll is what the 800x600 people are also seeing. But I ran accross this lame tool last week. http://www.webconfs.com/web-page-screen-resolution.php -- Jim Snape of Page-Zone Web Hosting http://www.page-zone.com |
