Spam is unsolicited mail. You can opt out of certain mailings, but by agrreing to their terms when you sign up, you will probably be agreeing to receive service emails. In other words, if you choose to use them, then no mail is unsolicited. There are people out there who do not even want to receive service announcements. Total half-wits.
