Default My first masterpiece for checking.

Hello nice people ( grovel )

After being told I needed to redo all the pages on my site and validate them
'strict' I began the grueling task of trying to learn htm.
This page I am posting started with 100 errors having been compiled using
FP.

Now I have many of these info pages to do and my *common sense* tells me to
post it here for checking before continuing further.

So what I would very much like you busy critics to do if you have time is
check what I have.
In other words am I on the right track or have I completely lost the plot

It validates in 'strict' and don't forget this is my first masterpiece so go
gentle

http://wairoa.net/temp/avg.htm

Many thanks
Jenny ( with fingers crossed )

No, there isn't much there yet. But both the HTML and CSS validate -
congratulations!

Now you can add things a little at a time, checking as you go.

Great job!

For the purpose intended, I think you did a fine job.

I looked around the parent Wairoa site. You live in a pleasant town. I
envy you. :-)

Where is Marlborough relative to Wairoa? I'm sipping a Kiwi wine from
there as I type this. :-)

Ok I understand now what you mean.
It was just the coding.
Many in here have been helping me and hence know where I am up to.
But anyone not having read my posts would not.
So I am sorry saz, I see what you are saying.

Cheers
Jenny

Hi Ed,

You are down the South Island, colder down there but brilliant scenery in
many areas.
I am up in the North Island.
East Coast, between Napier & Gisborne.

Where are you from, are you on holiday, I am guessing so otherwise I suggest
you get a job and get off the hot stuff...lol

Cheers
Jenny

Hi Jerry,
Yes kinda what I thought, start with an easy page and work my way up,
annoying you all as I go
Actually I might change newsgroups soon before I am run out of here
Ok with those kind words I am all go and may cont. with the next page I have
to redo.
What I found amazing was this page was originally done in FP. When I tried
to validate these mere words, it came back with 100 errors.
Incredible and even more reason for me to beat this html stuff.
Thanks for your input.

Cheers
Jenny

Another reason to never use FP, but yet some people will never learn and
continue to swear by it.

Sorry if I was rough on you - I missed the other threads.
