Default error when publishing

I am using Frontpage 2000. I have worked with this website for five years
and got the following error when trying to update it a week ago.
Server error: Cannot rename ".filename.jpg.tmp". the filename is usually
one of my pictures but also happened to my index page when i tried to update
it. I thought I found a fix on Microsoft by editing the registry, but when
it came to the bottom line I didn't have the files to delete.
Thanks for any help.

Linda,

This response to your newsgroup thing about filename.jpg.tmp is a little bit
longwinded, but I think this may help you.

FrontPage 2000 is an obselete copy and strangely will not work very wiell
with Windows ME, NT, Server 2003, or XP home/pro.

It may be a bit much money but a recommend you purchase Frontpage 2002 or
2003 which is probably about 120 dollars at OfficeMax or Staples or online.
One thing I can tell you is no matter what do NOT buy a copy on Half.com or
better known as eBay.

I know some computer shows that go around selling that for prices from 70 to
90 dollars. It is called a MarketPro Show. However I think they stay here on
the east coast... I go to the one in Chantilly Virginia, south of Wash. DC.

If you would like to see if the shows do come to your area, you can visit
www.marketproshows.com/computershows/
and click Shows and Schedule to the left.

Hope you fix your PC!

J.E.
