Best web hosting and design firms in NY/NJ area?

I work for a large NJ corporation (automotive industry) that's looking
to outsource the design and hosting of their site.

It's been 3-4 years since I dealt with hosting providers and I no
longer know who the "players" are. Back then, the Exodus setup on 8th
Avenue was considered pretty good and another one was in Staten Island.
As far as the design, I don't know who is still around. Can someone
post a few leads for me?

The hosting center should be able to support multiple redundant sites.

The design firm has to be able to supply extensive graphic (3D, Flash,
etc) expertise and be able to integrate business logic / data mining
capability into the site.

Mostly domestic audience.
Dealers will be posting inventory and other info on their dedicated
pages.

Haven't read the trade mags yet. I trust this group before I trust any
trade reports.

IIRC, the Exodus center in Hoboken was sold to someone else but provides the
same type of services.
Did some work for a couple of places in mid-town last year.
They were both planning on moving DC's off the island but were having a
tough time finding space- post 9/11 syndrome was encouraging a lot of
movement of systems out of the city.
One was building their own in the Catskills, the other was moving it to
someplace near the Meadowlands or to a place near Morristown.
If I can dig up the names of the Jersey sites, I'll post them. There's also
one off 287 in Westchester.
