| Civilians | Hello, I have some clients with static (HTML) sites, that would like onsite search functions. Can anyone recommend a good program for this ? I've used a Java-based search, which needs to update the sites occasionally, but works pretty well. Any other advice ? -JC |

If you'd care to try out some beta software, I'm currently developing a PHP/MySQL automatic site search engine. Spiders your pages automatically via your site links. You can get more details and download the script from here: <http://www.greywyvern.com/orca#sear> See a copy in action here: <http://www.greywyvern.com/search?q=index> Grey -- The technical axiom that nothing is impossible sinisterly implies the pitfall corollary that nothing is ridiculous. - http://www.greywyvern.com/webslavent?msg=149 - Presto the Puffin! |
