Default Who has left AH/DotCanada

I am a reseller with Affordable Host which is now *cough* run b
dotCanada. I am wondering if you have parted ways with AH since th
take over who did you go with?

A reseller that I had recommended to AH has left and went with Site5
they credited her the amount of credit that she had remaining with A
and transfeered all accounts for her. Pricing is good. I am als
leaning towards Page-Zone.

Anyone else I should consider and any comments on Site5 and Page-Zone?

My problems with AH/dCanada:
Affordable WAS a very good company before dotCanada took over.

EMail service has been deplorable and most recently I am going on
week for a problem to be resolved. My reseller friend wanted me to tak
over one account and set them up on my CPanel which is on a differen
server/Metis. I submitted a ticket explaining this and AH's response w
to tell me to contact MY new host! Bear-in-mind that both resellers ar
AH customers ....just changing to different servers. AH cannot figur
out how to make this account resolve to my server/Metis..........da
6.

Tech Support does not keep you up-to-date on the situation and will no
answer you when you ask for updates 1-2 days later.

Phone support is a joke. Same guy answers asking you what departmen
and he ends up dealing with the call. He has no answers though an
posts that customer called asking for update on ticket. Tech suppor
does not reply to HIS post either! Service Manager is always "out o
the office" and Jeff the person answering posts is always "in
meeting".

TIA

Good luck. I'm at eleven days trying to pay the monthly bill!

After failed "support" ticket, I phoned the Sudbury number long
distance (I'm in the US). First guy promised to fix it but just added
a note to my ticket, nothing else. Called again a few days later, got
Jeff, who discovered that my client's credit card address was
different than his business address. We fixed that on Monday, and Jeff
said the automatic billing would take place shortly. Heh, three days
and waiting. Jeff _did_ say my site would not be terminated, though.

The odd part is this very credit card has been used perfectly for
auto-billing prior to the AH sale.

I've heard alot of good things about site5.com - and that's who we've been
pointing everyone to, that have contacted us wanting to come back
(non-compete, unfortunately). So far, everyone that we've referred to them
has given me positive feedback on how helpful site5.com has been during the
transfer. Also, as you noted, they will credit your leftover time.

I added a new domain the other day... DNS was all fugged up until 4
days later. At least support ticket response time is better than the
old days (but worse than chat response time).

I've decided not to wait until she's ten foot tall before asking Allis.

Four weeks of no SMTP and the support ticket has been closed twice after
asking me to do things I'd already explained I'd done. I was with AH
because they didn't treat me like a moron.
