Default Stupidity=accessibility?

at least here in Uncle Sam. alas, my country....

http://www.insidepolitics.org/egovt04us.pdf (yes, PDF, sorry)

check out Readability on pg. 8.

50% of my people read and comprehend at or below the 8th grade level. i
think this explains a thing or two....

and what's our 8th grade equivalecy for you in the UK and Canada? like
kindergaden or thereabouts? hope you guys are doing better with
accessibility for public institutions.

Didst thou not know? I have long been a suited-crusader (we English
have dress sense). Perhaps you should read some of the controverisal
slants in The Probert Encyclopaedia! It's not without good reason I
was monitored by MI5 for over 15 years. (And my son thought he could
join the army! Hahahhaaaa <g> Sorry, Jeremy!)

If that I could, I should wear a bowler hat. Sadly, no my hat is an
Australian leather bush hat (everyone here thinks it's a stetson and
whistles the theme from rawhide when I walk past).

That I should have allowed my soap box to get under my feet once more,
I apologise. Suffice to say, accessibility and inclusion are not
limited to web site design.

Thank you

I decided that nice looking code is nowhere near as important as nice
looking sites, so I abandoned validation and accessibility stuff unless
it is required by the project. None of the sites I'm working on have a
shelf life more than a year or so, so it's all really pointless!
