I'd prefer that it stay here. I would certainly find it helpful, and
the last thing I need is to be subscribed to more newsgroups!

Besides, this is important info for people who wouldn't think to go to
the accessibility newsgroups - after all, you want to reach them and
not just preach to the converted.

well, alt.html.web-accessibility sounds like a more appropriate group.
should be wait around to see if my host will add it or just take over
alt.comp.accessibility? i don't think anyone will mind, it's not like they
are using it for anything....

yeah, but we can drop in with updates from time to time. the point about
reinvigorating another group--and such an important group--is well made.

Please do give periodic updates - they'd be much appreciated.

Why not let the thread run in two groups at the same time? As long as
it's on topic for both a.w.w. and an accessibility group, there is no
need to set a follow-up afaik. I follow both aww and
alt.html.web-accessibility, but I'd like to see this thread stay in
aww as well, especially cause that way more webmasters are informed of
what accessibility really means. People don't hang around in
accessibility groups if they're not already interested in the subject,
so I think it's good the thread stays here in a.w.w., and it would
also be good to have it in an accessibility group as well, to get
feedback from people who already know more about it.
