There's plenty of that here in the UK too. Such words as "blackboard" or
"blacklist" have been deemed not politically correct.

The one that really gets me is that we aren't supposed to use "brain
storm" because epileptic people suffer from brain storms during a
seizure! Apparently, we're supposed to say "thought shower" instead,
which IMHO sounds like something perverts would do behind closed doors.

A thought shower would be fantasizing about doing the real one with
someone.

Comes to close to racing thoughts, which is no fun at some times :-D.
Which is sometimes called brain storm too, but I prefer waterfall of
thoughts :-D.
