Default Okay okay....Don't panic....

I'm back...

A few days in Sunny Birkenhead and Liverpool, including a brief raiding
sortie accross the Welsh border to visit Queensferry Makro.

I seem to do nothing but travel these days. If I'm not in Norwich, I'm
in Belfast, and if I'm not there I can be found somewhere on the M62
heading towards Merseyside.

But I'm back now, to bring a much needed element of insignifigance and
irellevance to the newsgroup once again.

Not the one to Merseyside, but I have plenty of my recent trip to
Belfast....
I have a load of old photo's of my home town, Carrickfergus, all taken
between the 1890's and 1910's....I spent a bit of time working out
exactly where the spots are where they were taken from, and went there
with my camera to get modern day versions of the same photos.....
I'm going to compile the whole thing into a webpage, as it makes for
quite an interesting comparison....
Even if you're not a native of the town, it's still quite interesting
from a historic viewpoint....

That reminds me. Weren't you doing something about Kings Lynn in
Norfolk? Was it a website or a published article, or some sort of research?
If you like, I can go out with the digital camera and get some
photography for you, as I still live there.

Even if not that I love looking pictures of other places. :0) I have added
a few to my 'future travel itinerary' that way. *grin*

Yes I did have a fascination for a while strong enough that I was going to
put up a webpage or three about it.
Aren't there enough about Kings Lynn though already out there? *giggle*

I would still like to but with time constraints I might wait until the
pictures that go up on the site are ones
I took.. *big grin* I will keep your offer in mind though because I just
might still do it on my personal
site since I do still have the fascination :0)
