| Civilians | Hello, Is there like a common or widely known/used checklist of things to verify once you finish coding a website, but before you publish it? I know the basic link check and spell check, but any quick and above all RELIABLE method to ensure your HTML coding is perfect and that it won't be seen all screwed up in your visitors website? Please advise. Thanks. |

I tend to check: * HTML validity * CSS validity * Works at various browser widths and font sizes in: - IE 6 - IE 5.5 - IE 5.0 - Mozilla 1.0 - Opera 7.0 - Konqueror 3.1 * Usable in: - Netscape 4.8 - Lynx 2.8.x * Usable without Javascript, CSS and images and with various combinations of those. But this is not a last minute check -- these things are considered the entire way through the development process. -- Toby A Inkster BSc (Hons) ARCS Contact Me ~ http://tobyinkster.co.uk/contact |

If it works in IE on *my* machine, at *my* resolution, at *my* prefered window and font size, then sod the rest of them.....<bg> Matt -- The Probert Encyclopaedia - Beyond Britannica http://www.probertencyclopaedia.com |
