Adding a blog to my website

I would like to make my blog http://johnstexas.blogspot.com/ available on
http://www.desototexasusa.com/ the same way the headlines appear, with a
link to each entry and the first paragraph or so. Someone had suggested
that I look at his site http://101homebiz.com and how he has Allan Says
blog, but I tried replacing the code for his blog:

on the page http://www.desototexasusa.com/temp2.html , but nothing showed
up. I was able to get something on http://www.desototexasusa.com/temp.html
like what the owner of the homebiz site has where the headlines can be seen,
just not as text links like I wanted it. Is there any way to do this with
blogger?
