Default Illegal Character

I'm not sure if this is a FrontPage question or a Windows XP question.

I recently reloaded my computer due to a file error in the OS. I don't
recall the original setup, but I installed with a user name of "Bill Allen".
A system folder was then subsequently created named "Bill Allen's
Documents". I have my websites in the "My Webs" subdirectory.

When I tried to open a web, I got a "Illegal Character" error. I suspect the
illegal character is the apostrophy in "Bill Allen's Documents".

How do I get around this other than putting the "My Webs" directory
somewhere else (I want to back up My Documents)?

TIA,

Bill Allen

Have you tried renaming the folder?

Yes. That was the first thing I tried. I got an error message that this was
a protected Windows folder and could not be renamed.
