4a. "The number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please hang up
and dial one, nine-hundred[1], .... Nineteen ninety-five[2] per
minute. This is a recording."

"All your base are belong to us." ???

6. "Security self-destruct code accepted. Sixty seconds to
detonation .... fifty-five seconds to detonation .... fifty
seconds...."

7. "Hey! What are you doing with that axe?" <THUNK> <dialtone>

8. "Sorry, we only support Windows with Internet Explorer and Outlook
Express with JavaScript and ActiveX enabled."

[1] Would that be "zero, nine-hundred, ...." in the UK?
[2] Dollars and cents or Pounds and pence, take your pick.

It would be "oh, nine-hundred". "Zero" is mostly an American term. Though
actually UK premium rate numbers can start with 0901, 0902, etc...

I usually try to say "zero" because it is correct, it's a number not a
letter. I do say "oh" sometimes.

I say 'oh' cause I hang out with Brits more than with Americans
;-)

Actually, I just can't visualize (hearalize? ;-) ) any British
voice say "dial zero eight hundred...." on TV or radio. Just
sounds very weird to me...
