Default How do you set up a mirror site and is it advisable?

I just moved a client from one server that was way overcharging them for
basic Internet hosting - $250/mo!!! I set them up on a server that charges
$25/mo and they are happy but I'm wondering, just to cover myself, would it
be wise to grab another cheap host and have it mirrored just in case? Oh,
and how do you mirror a site? It's very static so moment by moment changes
are not necessary. Would it simply be a matter of setting the DNS for 3rd
and 4th server to point to the mirrored site? Also, how badly will this
affect search engine positioning, if at all? TIA

If your site is static, mirroir with DNS is good option and will not affect
search engine.

But i think you must set second IP for your domain and not 3rd and 4rd DNS.
If u set new DNS Server it only add more safe DNS resolution.

You can do somekind of load balacing with the DNS server. I dont know how
exacly do that...

If you need hosting, i have server used at 3%

Okay, here I am responding to my own message. I got it all worked out today
with a quick call to GoDaddy. I asked a techie over there and he set me up
with a mirror site and walked me through everything I needed to do. It was
a piece of cake! Big, big, big time kudos to my favorite domain name
registrar.

Yeah, it's very static. Changes only a couple of times per year.

I called GoDaddy.com and they pretty much set everything up for me. The
techie spent over an hour working with me for a total cost of $130 and that
included domain name purchased up till 2014 and a mirror site for a year.

Thanks for the offer, but I already got it taken care of. Thanks for your
response, too.
