Default Background Picture of a Page

Sometimes it is tiled and sometimes if fills the page. How do you manage
the background picture of a web page. I want a picture to take up the page.

I think that the picture has to be the same size as the web page - at least,
the "canvas" has to be - then the image has to be placed on the canvas
exactly where you want it to appear on the web page.

Think of it this way. I could have a picture of something small like a check
mark. Even though the check mark is tiny, the entire picture could be any
size you want, and the check could be anywhere on the canvas - top right,
bottom left, center. You have to do this in Paint Shop or whatever your
graphics editor is.

So I think that the background picture would probably be the last thing you
would do - after everything else is completed.

But that might not work completely, because people don't all have the same
text size settings, and the size of the page might vary with each viewer
but the picture will stay the same size.
