Default Multi-business web sites

I've run across some clients who would like a simple web site, but don't
want to deal with any of the "ownership aspects" of a site. For example,
one is a local folk singer now putting out her 2nd CD - who would just
like a site promoting her and the CDs. Another is a small business that
would just like a simple web presence….
I admit I'm new to the hosting possibilities, but can this be done?…………
I create a site called www.townweb.com (not really the name). Create a
home page with links to several different "businesses". So one business
might have an address of www.townweb.com/marysmusic/. Another might be
www.townweb.com/joespizza/….
Is this "legal?" Do hosting services allow this? Is this "reselling?"
Any problems I should be aware of? Thoughts............
Thx - Russ.

Of your its legal.

You may want to consider subdomains eg www.marysmusic.townweb.com

It's not reselling because all websites are just subdomains on the
original domain. There are tens of thousands of sites who do this very
same thing, so go for it.
