Default Posts dissapearing?

Recently I have noticed posts disappearing on this
group.
It doesn't appear to be happening on any other groups
I visit. Is this more likely to be my news server or something
to do with this group alone,
Anyone else noticed the same thing happening recently?

While sitting in a puddle T.J. scribbled in the mud:

And here I just thought they hadn't been posted yet.

News server admins can set the amount of storage allocated for each
newsgroup on an individual basis. Groups with a large turnover of
messages and small storage space allotted, will have short "retention"
times, because older messages have to be dropped to accomodate new ones.
