| Civilians | Okay, not so much a poll, but something I was pondering last night..... Programming and coding is all about problem solving right?.....Applying logical thought processes to a problem in order to produce a solution..... So, I was wondering, how many of you guys have ever managed to solve a Rubiks Cube?...... Properly solve it that is.....Peeling off the stickers doesn't count......For the sake of this poll, peeling off the stickers is the equivalent of stealing someone elses "Hello World" Javascript and claiming it as your own...... I've never managed to solve a rubiks cube myself, but then again, my programming methods are a bit clunky and un-refined at times......I think my ability to solve a rubiks cube, and programme in a gracefull way are somehow linked |

No, prying off the sticker is the equivalent of reprogramming the simulator to win the Kobayashu Maru test. If Captain James T. Kirk can do it, so can we. Besides, the Rubiks Cube is simply a multicoloured paperweight with no other use in this world. I lost interest in it after a couple of minutes pondering over a solution :\ -- Dylan Parry http://webpageworkshop.co.uk -- FREE Web tutorials and references |
