Default Bit blustery up here

I don't think I'll be taking my bike to the shop - can't hear anything with the
helmet on as it is.

We're flooded here in southern California. We're getting assloads of rain, and
after the 10/2003 fires, there aren't a whole lot of trees to stop the
mudslides. Whee! :P

**SJS (and before I moved here, I never realized the Mojave Desert gets as much
rain as it does. We even had snow here, which is not unusual as we are 3000
feet above sea level, but it normally melts after a couple hours, and the last
time we had snow in Apple Valley, earlier this winter, it actually stuck for a
couple days.)

San Fernando Valley checking in, here -- our *annual* average is
something like 15 inches, I think, and we beat that last week.
