Default Strange Homepage (Index) problem

Hi,

On my Homepage I have (had) a moving gif image and background sound
which have both stopped working on my site. Tried republishing but
still no joy. If I add the image and sound file to another page on my
site, that page will work but not on my Homepage. Has worked for months
until now. Preview in browser will not show movement either.
Any ideas please.

Regards,

Griff.

Griff,

You might want to check if there was a deletion of a script call
animate. I found that if that script is not in the folder, my animated
images do not work. Unless I am using a flash program to create an
animated object, which is another form you may want to try to avoid this
in the future.

Something that I have noticed is that although animation and sound does not
appear on Index page, if I navigate to another page and then navigate back
to my Index page both sound and animation run then.

It's almost as if the page loads too qickly for itself.

Griff.
