Default Re: geourl.org?

I have just relaunched a re-making of GeoURL at

http://www.geourl.info
Enjoy it!

P.S. It has nothing in to do with the "old" geourl.org!

Have a look at:

There can you see the whole thread!

Please quote a bit!

Why should I want to participate? The page you indicated tells me
nothing...

Hmm, well actually I don't understand why I should have quoted in the
case above, but if you want so, I do. ;-)

Nobody asked you to participate. I just post the information that I
have relaunched a re-make of GeoURL which is probably know by the the
two guys who started this thread. Therefore, they know the purpose of
that service. So, why should I explain it again?

However, via a URL like this

http://www.geourl.info/near/?lat=51.....0505&dist=500

you can find all registered sites which are located near the specified
coordinates within a circle of a diameter of the size of 'dist', e.g.
500km.

Regard,

Daniel

What two guys who started this thread? When was it started? I only saw
your post "starting" the thread with the subject line of Re:

Just in case people did not, for some reason, get the other two guys'
post? Otherwise it could be "news" coming "out of the blue".

Ah! I originally thought it may been something like tinyURL.
