Default A How-To Site?

I've always wanted to make a site where the whole community here can
participate in! Like you know, tutorials, forums, and all that. Something
like sitepoint.com. Anyone up for it?

From what I've seen of Sharif I'd guess it's more that he's modestly
expecting to do more than his share of the work but for the rest of us to
provide more than our share of the expertise.

Personally I don't thin the web needs it. What might be worthwhile is
something like brucie's bookmarks of existing sites organised into
decently described sections for different subjects.

That's a project I've had in mind for whenever I have time for it. I
have categorized link compilations about CSS and HTML, and I want to
add more categories.

A project that would benefit most of us here as well as lurkers is
(IMO) the one I posted at
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...3d3fc6eb99aef6 a
few days ago -- have a directory of the regulars and past regulars
here and what we do professionally that's web-related.

Lois,

I'd love to do something like that... like whosaww.com or something lol
where we can have a directory of everyone here. I would gladly code a
script for that ... that's what I do good anyways

Obviously I like the idea, since I suggested it, but what do the rest
of you here think about it? We have a volunteer to do the work. :-)
