| Civilians | A cropped picture is often distorted (aspect ratio changes) - probably when the cropped dimensions are different to the original. Is there a way to preserve the aspect ratio so that it is not necessary to stretch the picture manually. Thanks Laurence Lombard |

I use PaintShop Pro V9. It does everything I need. JW |

| Civilians | Thanks for your reply John. I hear what you say, but for my very basic application Fronpage does everything I need, so why use/learn another application? It is only this cropping anomaly which I am interested to know whether there is a solution. | Civilians | Cropping should change nothing. There should be no change at all in aspect ratio. I'm not really sure why you are having to stretch the picture. Do you have fixed dimensions set for the picture?
