WANTED - - - Website Designer

Hi,

I am looking for a web designer for the following project.

Requirements:
You must have experience with e-commerce sites.
You must have experience with databases and account software.
You can be located anywhere in the world (I am located in Denver,
Colorado). I must be able to pay you with a credit card or through
PayPal.com or with a company check if you live in the US. (Yes, I pay
money)
You must be able to speak English well enough so that we can
communicate. I speak a little German if that helps.

Here is the project.

I want to build an online stock photo web site. This is a site where
a person logs on, searches for a photo (or photos) they want to use,
then enters his credit card number and downs loads the photo he wants.
Photographers will join the site and upload their images for use on
the site.

The istockphoto .com web site is a good model and is similar to what I
want to build…although my site will somewhat less complicated.

The web site will require several forms
1 or 2 phone databases
1 customer data base
1 photographer data base
a search engine for the images
e-commerce credit card link
some type of simple photo resizing and adding a watermark.
Accounting for sales
(all of the above should be off-the-shelf items)

I will give you an outline of EXACTLY how the site will work. I have
done this before so I should be able to make your job easier.

I will supply all of the text in cut-and-paste form. I will suggest
graphic layouts.

The site will be hosted by a company in Denver that I have worked with
for 7 or 8 years now. The people there are bright and very easy to
work with.


My philosophy is:
Never build what you can buy
Never buy what you can rent
Never rent what you can barrow.

Cost is a major consideration but not the primary consideration.

I would like to get started on this in the next couple weeks if
possible. The domain name is already registered.

Please send me your rough estimate of what you think this project will
cost, also, please include your hourly rate. I would also like an
estimate of how long you think it will take to finish this project.

When this project is complete. There may be a series of about 6
small, simple, equickie web site projects.

I stopped reading after I saw that line. That's telling me that you
can't afford my work - or any other decent web designer.

It could mean that he has so much money that it's not important?

Every client that I ever had that claimed cost was not a major
consideration turned out to be liars.

Those that are completely silent on the subject have always spent the
most.
