Hey. I was in a similar situation. I live in a rural area of
California. My ISP does not provide DSL to my area and my max dial-up
speed is 28K. I bought a new Dell system with everything Hi Tech but
the web surfing remained Sooooo slow. So, I got Proxyconn and I am VERY
happy with it. It has increased the speed at least by 3 or 4. It has
definitely made a difference. Hope this helps.
