Default alternative to right click "Save Target As" for mp3 downlaods

I want visitors to be able to double click the mp3 link and have a standard
Windows download dialog come up.

many folks evidently don't know how to do a right click and "save Target As"
even when instructed..TYVM

do you have control over the headers sent to the client?
If so, you can send a content-type that is unknown to the browser (e.g.
application/octet-stream) or you can simply try to tell the browser that the
content is to be downloaded, e.g.
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=myMP3file.mp3;

see http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2183.html for further information on the
latter.
