I think you are being much too kind.

They start off using imagemaps where ordinary hyperlinks would be
entirely appropriate. (Why use an imagemap for an image with only
one destination?)

; Are you of legal drinking age in your home country? (UK 18 or over)
;
; [1] [USEMAP] [2] [USEMAP]
;
; By entering this website you agree to abide by the [3] terms and
; conditions

After navigating these (by just guessing which link is appropriate by
seeing "Yes" in the URL) and overcoming the obstacles of refresh links
and frames (that won't work with older versions of lynx) I get to a framed
page, one frame of which looks like:

: [1] [LINK] [2] [LINK]
:
: [3] [LINK]
:
: [4] [LINK]
:
: Drink filter is off [5] Whats This?
:
: [6] [LINK] [7] [LINK] [8] [LINK] [9] Search Menu [10] [LINK] [11]
: [LINK] [12] [LINK] [13] [LINK] [14] [LINK] [15] [LINK]

Has the webmaster not heard of the alt attribute for images?

Oh! and five hyperlinks are just an unusable "javascript:;".

The "[5] Whats This?" link leads to a page that's totally blank in lynx.
Other links lead to similar blank pages.

I think the contents of the following site should be engraved on stone and
the stone be used to beat the thecocktaillab's webmaster about the head
and shoulders:

Thecocktaillab's terms prohibit the use of anything on their site for
commercial purposes. Does that mean that a bartender can't look up and
use a recipe for a drink that a customer has asked for that he doesn't
know how to make?

And they don't have Nanny Ogg's favourite bananana drink listed, either.
That's the worst sin.

Back in another life, I used to do that to avoid borders around image
links (before I knew of border=0)
