how to redirect someone bac to the last page automatically

hi,
im looking for a html script that can do the following at the same time;

1. the page that the script is on automatically redirects the page to the
last page viewed
and
2. to open another window up and directing it to a specified url.

can this be done and if so can I have the lines of code please.

HTML is _not_ a scripting language, it is a markup language, Hypertext
Markup Language. You need something in Javascript (not Java, which is a
compiled language).

However, please note that many users a) do not have javascript enabled so
a redirect to a prior page is not going to do anything, b) most users do
not like windows opening unless they opened it themselves, and again,
this will not work without Javascript.
