wanted front page

you know,

something that will work with front page 2000, something free that will
assist with creating the thumbnails in a gallery and or something that will
allow me to have a slide show, something that will not allow people to save
an image (i've been told by ulead that a script, java probably is used for
that and i'd have to upgrade to something more than ulead 6)

Have you tried JAlbum? It's free and generates thumbnails and
slideshows. Works on Mac and Win.
