| Civilians | Hi, I am going to write a diving website and on it will be some photos that I have taken underwater and I have heard that people just collect them and pass them around and I don't want that to happen. What is the best way of stopping people just doing left click and save picture? Steve |

Disabling the right-click still leaves plenty of options to steal your photo ranging from a screen capture, Windows Menu shortcut key (put your cursor over a photo and hit the Menu key next to your right-hand CTRL key) and the same options come up as right-click. You can put a watermark on the image, but this will degrade the image. You can frustrate people by putting the image into the background of a table cell, then make a transparent image the same size, directly over it. When they save the image, it's blank! |

I also thought of putting copywrite notices that were small enough not to see when on the web but if there is a complaint I can prove that it's mine. Steve > > > |
