| Sensei ![]() | I still need to do a few things to her like find the original yugo pistol grip then swap out the gas piston for the US parts count. I also need to find a rear sling swivel and cleaning rod. I also want to replace the screws with rivets then rough up the receiver’s finish for that battle field pick-up look. It’s also missing a big hunk of the front lower hand guard. I was thinking of replacing it but for “the look” I might just keep it on and leave it as is. ![]() ![]()

| Sensei ![]() | I replaced most of the screws with rivets and took some steel wool to the receiver to give it that “Battlefield pick-up” look. Disassembly ![]() ![]() The receiver and trigger guard with cap screws and u-drives. ![]() I removed the old screws. ![]() Then used rivets to put it all back together. ![]() I replaced all but two cap screws and two u-drives. Both were fastened on the forward trunnion real tight and I saw no reason to press out the barrel pin and barrel to replace these. (Whew I wasn’t looking forward to that) Fat46 did an excellent job with those. ![]()

| Sensei ![]() | After everything was riveted I took some steel wool to the finish to give it that “used” look. ![]() ![]() Here it is, I still need a few small parts but she’s ready shoot. I going to leave the forward lower hand guard as is, it just adds to that “battlefield pick-up look” ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
