| Sensei   |  Romanian AK47 project II, The sequel My last AK build was so fun I decided to do it again. I ordered this Romanian AK-47 Matching Number Kit Hand Select with G2 Trigger Group from Copes distributing. All numbers match and the parts and bore look good. I placed the order on there web sight last Sunday and received it today,, cant get much better then that. I still need to order some rivets and decide on a receiver but I’ll use this thread to document my progress.

| Sensei | Re: Romanian AK47 project II, The sequel Furniture sanded and Romy black stripe painted.  Next step is to wash the furniture in wine colored Rit dye and alcohol.

| Sensei | Re: Romanian AK47 project II, The sequel I washed the furniture in 1 part wine colored Rit dye, 2 parts alcohol. I’ll let this soak in before applying the linseed oil.  The next step is to remove the barrel pin and press out the barrel then remove the old rivets on the trigger guard and front and rear trunnion and remove the old receiver stubs.
