Computer mock-up of my new build, less the M93B stock, it should be complete in a few weeks…

Well, I finally got the longer Predator flash suppressor on the barrel so I'm legal, going out to the range bright and early tomorrow and put some rounds through my retirement present. Still hung up on whether to get a single or two point sling...not sure if I want the barrel dangling down.

I have a basic 2 point national match leather sling on my plain Jane 20” A2, a lightweight nylon sling on my son’s A3 carbine and a 3 point Mamba fighting sling on my CAR15 butI’m not 100% in love with that 3-point mamba sling.

I don’t think I’ll put any sling on my new AR as it’s more of a precision bench rest rifle.

I am trying out my son’s Ace Socom stock. I feels much better then the basic 6-position M-4 stock The M4 stock is just to light for a bench rifle. I am looking at the Magpul PRS AR15 percision rifle stock like this one and a heaver buffer.

Here are the specs:
16" SS Super Bull Barrel 1.10" OD
P.O.F. P12X 4-rail (custom milled & fitted)
Custom milled and fitted gas block
A3 upper receiver
Leupold VXII 4-12X40AO (Leupold dot)
Leupold QRW rings
Harris Bipod
ACE SOCOM stock.

you will have to post some pictures of your retirement present in the Weapons Picture Thread that I started here.
