Default Marlin model 39 Article II

As I mention in this thread my uncle left me his guns in his will. Here is the Marlin model; 39 .22 lever action, Right to bear arms Article II 1871 – 1971 commemorative model that he left me.

I keep this rifle at my lake cabin and in the winter I take a top from a old Webber grill and prop it up in a secluded area across the ice about 250 to 300 yards in a wooded shore line to use as a target. Then I sit inside the cabin and open the sliding glass door just enough to stick the barrel out the door and blast away. It’s fun when after a few round, when you get the Windage and elevation just right with the open sights and hear that “tink” when the little .22 slug hits that Webber grill lid.

You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.
