Default What's your favorite weapon???

This is not going to be easy. You can only choose one but it can be any man/woman portable weapon you wish. please include photo if you have one.

I have lots of favorites but number one would have to be the BAR

Close behind would be the Thompson, M14 and the M79 in no particular order

I would have to say the AR15 and all it’s variants, M16, M4, etc… Eugene Stoner was a genius.

Here are my son’s and mine.

My son carried the paratrooper version of the M249 SAW in Iraq. Now I never shot one my self but if I had it would probably be my favorite.

My son, SPC Alex Johnson

Nice collection of AR's. I to wish I could have fired an M249 when I was in. I did get the chance to fire 4 tow missiles and approx 20,000 rds of 25MM from an M3 Bradley. Not to bad.

Here are a few others from our military display we do several times a year at different local events.

A BAR would be great. I'd luv to add one of them to my small collection. They don't make em like that anymore. I like the newer weapons but the old had style and class. Like that .45 Thompson up on that board. I got a article about the guy that help invent that. He was from my hometown of Centerville, Iowa.
By the way Rameses 1275 B.C., Hmmmm. Wer'nt you the one in the pink chariot with the curb feelers and the little bobble head goat on the dash.
Just kiddin Guy I did'nt see no bobble head goat

OK gunner, that pink chariot used to be a big red one, before the battle, the "curb feelers" were battle blades, mounted on the wheels, and the bobble head magically always faces me to the thickest part of the battle.

But we are off topic. A tripod with a Browning .30 air cooled is my favorite but you can't really call it a one man weapon (unless you ar John Wayne or the California Governator).
