I of course chose the MP 5 as I said on the other thread but I did not see an UZI there at all. It would have recieved my second vote. A very fun weapon to have qualified with. I consider the MAC 10 to be a drug dealer's .38 special and not of use by any service (to my knowledge).For me it doesn't count. I also wondered if anyone had as much fun as I did firing the M-3 grease gun. What a mule that was but fun none the less!!!

I went with MP5, although I love the Thompson (ditto's on the M3). What about the MP40 and Uzi? And why was the Scorpion included (you can barely call what it shoots "ammo")? But it does look like fun. Like the MP5-PDW, anyone got a pic of that?

Oh, can 'o' worms!
MP7A1 = PDW not SMG!
Should Have been split. Best WW2 SMG and Best Post War SMG
Where's the UMP?
WW2
Thompson, M3, Sten, MP40/38, PPSh41and Owen.
Post War
MP5, Mac10, Sterling, Skorpion, UMP, UZI and Beretta M12.
I was taught that to be SMG the weapon required a pistol type round and to be fired from the sholder if it doesn't fit in there its a 'machine pistol'.

I don't have much experience with these guys, I chose MP7 because it looks cool. I carried an M-3 during Desert Storm - haha, it was fun to shoot! I considered it a good anti-aircraft gun b/c you could be shooting it straight but by the end the thing was pulling up to the sky. All us track mechanics that were recovery ops carried the thing.
