Special Submarine Submachine Gun APS

The submachine gun APS is an individual gun of a swimmer-aqualanger. It is intended for hitting the above-water and submarine targets, including defence against sea beasts. The 5,66-mm cartridges MPS with steel bullets are used for firing.
The firing and trigger mechanism of a striker type allows delivering both automatic and single-shot fire. Killing range in the water at a depth of up 5 m is 30 m, up 20 m –20 m, up 40 m – 10 m, in the air – 100 m.
Reliability of the submachine gun is guaranteed in any climatic conditions in temperature range –10°С...+40°C (before dipping).
Each submachine gun is completed with two magazines and accessories.
