I just got in too. Had to take Bob back to the hospital and we were there for a while. They decided he should return home, and we were waiting for a taxi when our old priest and friend, Fr. B., came by. He gave us a ride to the drug store for the medicine they'd ordered, then brought us home.

This is getting very wearing! Hours in hospitals are not restful, are they!

They aren't usually, are they.

Question is, why not?

One would think that for all the power and money they've got, they could at the VERY least get to appointments ON TIME.

Or, how 'bout WE get to charge THEM by deducting a certain amount (say, $5 per minute?) for lateness?

Well, this was paramedics and ER again, Sir Blue, so I can't complain about appointments. We did come back home and apply the medication with some success, but his incision is a possible problem. He was carrying the baby last night when he's not supposed to lift anything above five pounds. I hope he hasn't injured himself, but he is just crazy about the little boy and picked him up without thinking.
