| Crew Dawg ![]() | 143 brands of Vodka... holy smoke. I didn't get to liking it until about 15 years ago, in my late 40s when I took up martini sampling. What I found is that there is QUITE a difference between brands, and that price absolutely (pun intended ) does matter in a lot of cases... some are smoother, for example... cheaper ones tended to be more like kerosene.Alas, I do not taste of it anymore anyway. But, it was fun at one time. These days I limit myself to fine coffee, iced tea, fruit juices and lots of cold water.

You would like our water; it's always cold and it's spring water from West Virginia. We get it through an aquifer that runs beneath the Chesapeake Bay. No chlorine or other additives; sweet, pure spring water.

| Crew Dawg ![]() | Anyone who has good water is blessed. If we old timers live long enough to see it, I believe we will find that water, as a necessary human resource, may very well become far more valuable than oil. I lived for quite a few years in New Mexico... where water is VERY contentious, people ready to blow up stuff, maim and even murder for control of it.

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | Yes, it is a blessing, Sir Blue. We have a well over 600 feet deep, and the water is excellent. My oldest son lived in New Mexico for a few years, so I know what you mean about the water there. We saw the Rio Grande when we were out there one summer, and it was dry. No water at all at the point where we were.
