I must have a Vodka drink sometime, Sir Blue. I never have for some reason. Probably my early fondness for Bourbon. Except in Mint Juleps -- I like them with Bourbon, but they are even better with Rye.

Sir Blue, we already have that. Go to trackpads Community, General Discussions, Hobbies, Beverages and look for an appropriate thread or start one of your own. If you do start one, you can announce it in the Saloon. Vodka is one of my favorites. I went to the Czar Bar in the Langham Hilton in London and they featured 143 different brands of Vodka from all over the world. It was like being in heaven, even the waiters were dressed as Cossacks.

Oh, I know you enjoyed that, Paul. Do you have a favorite brand? I seem to recall that vodka is a favorite of yours, but I'm not sure if you have a favorite brand.

I have no favorite brand of vodka. For mixed or "fancy" drinks, anything is fine, the other ingredients mask the vodka. For neat or straight up vodka I prefer a smooth Russian or Scandanavian brand. That's Heaven!!! But it must be cold.
