It's funny how I've had to travel cross country to snowshoe in some really good snow. There really hasn't been a lot back East....or at least in CT.

Hey Anth - Just to catch you up on things....I was laid off from my job in November and have been having fun with preparing for the Holidays. I've also have been having fun planning a trip to Lake Tahoe and San Luis Obispo, CA. In San Luis Obispo is where I will really get in trouble....Hubby and I will be meeting up with Beasty! Sort of a Los Vegas reunion from two years ago!!

Can't wait!

Son I got what I wanted form one place today I am forced to invade the hallowed halls of Kings College. I need to down load some material from you Brits.



Hon Tahoe is famous for there Snow in fact you are only about 30-35 miles where the Donner party had there little BarB-Q.
I have fished Tahoe many time in fact the largest Trout I ever caught was in that lake.

Being laid off from work isn't fun (dad was laid off the week before Christmas), but at least you've had other things to keep you occupied. Its a shame I'm on this side of the Pond and wont have a chance at meeting most people on this site, though I am planning on going to another forum meetup (100 people all kicking the living daylights out of each other should be fun! ).

If we have the best info for the job, then use it! I'm going to be putting an order in soon for one of the books you recommended, the Oxford Modern War book. Amazon has it for £7 so that is good enough for me!
