Darn, I missed this.

No, it's not all gone yet. They've almost got me off the Prednisone (from 60 mg to 5 mg EOD) and I no longer have to give myself insulin shots (Prednisone induced diabetes), but still take the oral meds (which they just cut down to 1 pill a day). I am off the oxygen for longer periods of time now, hopefully I'll get off it completely, but I have a fancy new oxygen tank which goes over my shoulder like a purse and isn't that ugly green thing. Slowly but surely, day by day.

It sounds like you're improving. Keep following the Doctor's orders and you'll be fine before you know it. The last oxygen tank I wore was for scuba diving, and that was a while ago.

I am improving slowly but surely and I can see progress. I have a head cold right now that makes me nervous, but I know that's because of what happened before.
