Chilly this morning! Downright chilly. Maybe an early autumn this year?

Let's see now; the sap returns to the roots in August, doesn't it? I think the sap. Then a frost will start the leaves changing, and this year it appears we may be headed into an early autumn.

Somehow, though, I doubt it.

I don't know nature's timing. When it happens, it happens. Although I am enjoying these cooler days of August. It's better than the dog days of summer.

It is that! The temperature this morning is perfect. A good morning to sleep in, which Bob is doing!

Bobby is preaching at St. Andrew's today. He flew back from Arizona Friday evening. He and his son enjoyed driving there together -- a great bonding time for father and son. Not necessary, but it kept the young man from trying to sleep in his car! He's still young enough to feel safe doing that.
