Cool this morning -- I must have turned the alarm off without bothering to wake up. Daylight woke me today. Well, almost woke me up -- in any event, I'm here and a bit late for me.

So what new and exciting adventure can we all get into today? As for me, I'm not feeling adventurous today, just tired.

Good morning Marianne. This is another busy week. We award a medal and a $200 savings bond to the students selected by each local school for their achievements and community service in the village. Then on Friday we are part of the town fair on Tulip Avenue (Main Street). We will present the awards at 5 different schools this week.

Morning all! Bacon sarnies are on the bar

I'm totally knackered after very little sleep last night and having to be up for some mail (last thing to go on the truck for a while!) this morning. Plus I got a load of sharp plastic in my feet training last night. It looks like, for some reason, some kids at the school had had plastic forks in the hall then stood on them. Result was shards of sharp plastic getting stuck in our feet.

Good thing though - due to the fast healing of me, you couldnt tell about 15 minutes later

That is quite a schedule, Paul. What a great reward to the youngsters who have earned those awards! It should be quite an encouragement to them all.

There's so much criticism of the young people today, but I doubt you all have all that many problems there, because your community gives them so much positive support. It's how it was when I was young; somewhere along the way, it seems most communities have forgotten.

That you heal fast is good for you, but what about the others? And doesn't anybody there clean up with a vacuum? I know things get ground into fabric, but a vacuum should help immensely. This is the second time this type of thing has happened.
